KDMC begins basic tests in 61 schools to improve academic standards

Thane, Jun 30 (PTI) The Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation has started a comprehensive basic testing initiative in 61 of its schools to improve academic standards, an official said on Monday.

The initiative was launched under the guidance of Municipal Commissioner Abhinav Goyal, who also undertook field visits to inspect the quality and execution of the tests, the official added.

"It is to assess the academic progress of students and raise their intellectual capabilities. Goyal visited schools in Barave and Bradna Galli. He even taught some of the students. The KDMC has also appointed guardian officers for each school to ensure accountability and progress monitoring," he added. PTI COR BNM
