Palghar, Jan 28 (PTI) A Palghar Police team had a close shave when their patrolling boat almost capsized in a creek, an official said on Saturday.
The incident occurred on Friday afternoon in Kelva creek near Saphale town, 25 km from Palghar.
"A team of five policemen of Palghar district police was patrolling the sea coast in a boat when water gushed into the boat due to high tide," he said.
As the police personnel raised an alarm and informed their onshore counterparts, a police team rushed to the spot in another boat and brought them back to the shore along with the boat, said the police PRO.
