Maharashtra assembly's monsoon session ends; winter session from Dec 8 in Nagpur

Mumbai, Jul 18 (PTI) Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan on Friday prorogued the state assembly, bringing an end to the three-week-long monsoon session during which key bills related to combating Left-wing extremism and bringing drug peddlers under the MCOCA were passed.

The prorogation order was read out in the assembly by Speaker Rahul Narwekar.

The winter session of state legislature will start in Nagpur from December 8. PTI MR RSY
