Maharashtra govt sanctions Rs 10 cr for upgradation of public health laboratories

Mumbai, Sep 11 (PTI) The Maharashtra government has sanctioned Rs 10 crore for the upgradation of public health laboratories.

The funds will be used for purchasing essential equipment, chemicals, glassware and furniture, said a Government Resolution (GR) or order issued on Thursday.

The responsibility for proper utilisation of funds will rest with the Directorate of Health Services and the State Public Health Laboratory, Pune, it said. PTI ND KRK
