Man feared drowned at Mumbai beach

Mumbai, Oct 22 (PTI) A man was feared drowned at Aksa Beach in the city on Wednesday evening, and a search operation is underway, a civic official said.

A group of four people entered the water for swimming, and one of them went missing, the official added.

The incident occurred near the gate of INS Hamla in suburban Malad, and the Fire Brigade was alerted around 5:15 pm, he said.

Details about the missing man and his companions are awaited, the official added. PTI KK KRK
