Man held for raping minor daughter in UP's Saharanpur

Saharanpur (UP), Jul 20 (PTI) A man was arrested here on Sunday for allegedly raping a seven-year-old girl, police said.

The accused was identified as Mehrban of Gangoh town, Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sagar Jain said.

The incident happened Friday-Saturday night and the next day Mehrban gave death threat to even the mother of the victim, he said.

"An FIR was registered against Mehrban and one unidentified individual under various relevant sections in connection with this incident on the basis of the complaint," the SP said. PTI COR CDN VN VN
