Man held for sexually abusing two children in Kalyan

Thane, Jul 14 (PTI) A man was arrested for sexually abusing two children, both 11 years of age, in Kalyan in Thane district, a railway police official said on Monday.

The two children were found at Kalyan railway station on June 26, who told police they had been brought by the accused, identified as Arun Uttapa (28), from Wadala in Mumbai, the official said.

"The accused also sodomised them. He was arrested on Sunday under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and POCSO Act for kidnapping, rape and other offences," Kalyan railway police station senior inspector Pandhari Kande said. PTI COR BNM
