MeT predicts heavy rainfall across Rajasthan

Jaipur: Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur at many places in Rajasthan on Monday due to active southwest monsoon, the MeT department said.

It has been raining intermittently in many areas, including Jaipur, Tonk, Sikar, Baran, Dausa, Jhalawar, Nagaur and Kota, from this morning.

There is a possibility of increase in heavy rain activities in eastern Rajasthan on June 23-24, said the Meteorological Center, Jaipur.

There is a warning of heavy/very heavy rainfall at some places in Kota, Bharatpur and Jaipur divisions during this time.

There may be very heavy rainfall at one or two places in Kota, Bharatpur and Jaipur divisions on Monday.

There is a possibility of increase in thunderstorm activities in some parts of western Rajasthan's Bikaner division during June 25 to 27.

Due to the formation of a new weather system in the Bay of Bengal in the coming days, heavy rain activities will increase again in eastern Rajasthan from June 27.
