MP: 200 kg beef found in SUV, driver arrested

Bhopal, Oct 4 (PTI) One person was arrested in Madhya Pradesh capital Bhopal on Saturday after 200 kilograms of beef was allegedly found in his sports utility vehicle, a police official said.

The SUV was intercepted near a temple on Narmadapuram Road on a tip off, Habibganj police station SHO Sandeep Chouksey said.

"SUV driver Nandkishore (40) has been booked under Madhya Pradesh Cow Slaughter Prohibition Act 2004. Further investigation is underway," he said. PTI LAL BNM
