Nagpur: Leopard found dead near highway, accident suspected

Nagpur, Jun 19 (PTI) A four-year-old leopard was found dead barely 30 meters from the Nagpur-Jabalpur national highway in Paoni forest range in the district on Thursday with officials suspecting that it was hit by a vehicle.

A team of forest officials rushed to the spot after being alerted, said a release here.

Injuries, possibly caused after being hit by a speeding vehicle, were found on its body.
