New Delhi, Sep 12 (PTI) Delhi Health Minister Pankaj Singh on Friday said there is no need to worry about H3N2 flu, adding it's just a viral infection and not serious.

However, all Delhi hospitals are fully prepared to handle the situation, he said.

"There is nothing to worry about H3N2 flu. It's a viral infection and not serious, but for proper management, all Delhi hospitals are ready," said Pankaj Singh.

Doctor Ambuj Garg, medicine vice-chairperson of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, said that if symptoms don't improve in three days, people should consult a doctor. He also recommended wearing masks, drinking warm water, having nutritious food, and drinking warm milk.

He added that if the fever does not subside in three days, people can continue taking rest at home. If symptoms persist beyond five days, they should consult a doctor. He emphasised that avoiding crowded places and wearing masks is not mandatory at this stage, but maintaining basic hygiene and rest is important for recovery. PTI NSM MNK MNK
