Noise pollution: Two persons booked for use of sound amplifiers in Latur

Latur, Nov 14 (PTI) Two persons were booked in Latur for use of sound amplifiers in violation of Supreme Court guidelines on noise pollution, a police official said on Friday.

Several large speakers placed on a table outside a marriage hall were blaring loud music on Tuesday night, the MIDC police station official said.

He identified the two accused as hall owner Dhanraj Sathe and DJ set-up owner Aniket Ingle, the official added. PTI COR BNM
