On eve of Mahaparinirvan Diwas, two booked for tearing Ambedkar banner in Bhiwandi

Thane, Dec 5 (PTI) Two persons were booked in a village in Thane's Bhiwandi taluka for tearing a banner of Babasaheb Ambedkar on the eve of his Mahaparinirvan Diwas, a police official said on Friday.

The incident took place in Kawad village, the Bhiwandi taluka police station official said.

Two persons from Dumadapada have been booked but are yet to be arrested, he added. PTI COR BNM
