Pradeep Kumar Jena assumes office as Odisha's new chief secy

Bhubaneswar, Mar 1 (PTI) Senior IAS officer Pradeep Kumar Jena on Wednesday took charge as the new chief secretary of Odisha.

The 1989-batch IAS officer assumed office after the superannuation of Suresh Chandra Mohapatra from service.

Before taking charge, Jena prayed at the Jagannath temple in Puri.

Jena was accorded a warm welcome by senior officers of the state administration.

During the day, he discussed various issues discussions with senior officers.

Anu Garg, a 1991-batch IAS officer, took charge as the new development commissioner of Odisha in place of Jena. PTI AAM ACD ACD
