Railway cops solve six theft cases, return gold worth Rs 5.06 lakh to victims

Thane, Oct 2 (PTI) The Mumbai railway police has returned stolen gold items worth Rs 5.06 lakh to rightful owners after solving six theft cases, an official said on Thursday.

These cases were registered at Thane railway police station over a period of time, the official added.

"The items have a cumulative weight of 44.10 grams. These include 'mangalsutras', chains, rings etc. They were returned in a ceremony held on Tuesday," the official said. PTI COR BNM
