Jaipur, Jul 12 (PTI) Rain continues to lash parts of Rajasthan, with Jaipur receiving the highest, 87 mm, of it in the past 24 hours, the weather department said on Saturday.
According to the Meteorological Centre, Jaipur, the highest precipitation was recorded in the state capital's Sambhar till 8.30.
Jaisalmer recorded the highest maximum temperature, 39.4 degrees Celsius, on Friday.
Most parts of eastern Rajasthan are likely to receive more than average rainfall over the next two weeks, the weather department said.
In its western part, more than normal rainfall is expected over the coming week. PTI AG VN VN
