Raj Bhavan Mizoram renamed as Lok Bhavan Mizoram

Aizawl, Dec 2 (PTI) Mizoram on Tuesday renamed its Raj Bhavan as Lok Bhavan.

The Raj Bhavan name was changed in pursuance of the communication from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and the direction of the state Governor, the Governor's secretariat said in a notification.

From now on, the official residence of the Governor of Mizoram shall no longer be referred to as 'Raj Bhavan, Mizoram' and shall instead be known as 'Lok Bhavan, Mizoram', the notification said. PTI COR RG
