Rajasthan: Woman arrested with 152 grams of MDMA drug in Jalore

Jaipur, July 14 (PTI) A woman was arrested in Rajasthan's Jalore for allegedly smuggling 152 grams of MDMA drug inside her laptop, police said on Monday.

The accused was identified as Bhavika Choudhary (27) alias Bhawari Devi from Barmer district.

She was en route to Gujrat on a roadways bus from Barmer when based on a tip-off a police team intercepted the vehicle, Station House Officer (SHO) Baldev Ram said.

Upon checking, the police team found the drugs in two small packets inside her laptop bag, he said.

According to police, Choudhary was quite active on social media with 85,000 followers on Instagram.

"During initial questioning, she revealed that a woman from Barmer gave her the consignment which was to be supplied to Gujarat. She is being interrogated further," the officer said. PTI SDA OZ OZ
