Road crash in UP leaves one person dead

Shahjahanpur (UP), Jan 2 (PTI) A double-decker bus carrying pilgrims from Gujarat to Ayodhya rammed into a truck in Shahjahanpur district on Friday, leaving one person dead and two others injured, police said.

The bus was carrying 60 passengers.

Police rushed three injured persons to a hospital where bus conductor Mukesh Bhai (26) was declared dead by doctors.

The bodies of the deceased have been sent for postmortem, police said. PTI COR NAV DV DV
