Spicejet to operate special flights to evacuate more Indians stranded in Ukraine

New Delhi (India): SpiceJet on Monday announced that it will operate special evacuation flights to Budapest and Hungary to bring home Indian nationals stranded in Ukraine.

The airline will use its Boeing 737 MAX aircraft for this purpose.

The aircraft will fly to Budapest from Delhi and the return flight will operate via Kutaisi, Georgia. The flights have been scheduled to operate on February 28, March 1, and March 2 so far.

SpiceJet is currently discussing this purpose with concerned authorities. (With agency inputs)
