Scooterist killed in road accident

Thane, Nov 19 (PTI) A 25-year-old two-wheeler rider was killed after he fell on the road and was run over by a truck on Ghodbunder Road in Thane on Wednesday, an official said.

The incident occurred near a food mall, resulting in the death of Manoj Chaudhary. The truck driver fled with the vehicle.

Thane Disaster Management Cell chief Yasin Tadvi said teams ensured immediate coordination among police, traffic officials and medical responders. PTI COR NSK
