Soldier killed in accidental grenade blast in J-K’s Poonch

Jammu, Sep 29 (PTI) An army personnel lost his life in an accidental grenade blast in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday evening, officials said.

The soldier was on sentry guard duty at a post inside a camp in the Surankote area when the grenade reportedly went off due to his mishandling around 7.45 pm, they said.

They said the trooper died on the spot. PTI TAS RHL
