Tally Solutions to assist MSMEs to adopt e-invoicing

Coimbatore (TN), Sep 28 (PTI) Tally Solutions would assist micro, small and medium enterprises to seamlessly manage e-invoicing with its fully connected solution- TallyPrime, a company official said on Wednesday.

The development assumes significance as the deadline for e-invoicing adoption concludes by October 1 for Goods and Services Tax registered businesses having a turnover of Rs 10 crore and above.

The company has been taking extensive efforts to educate the businesses across Coimbatore about the amendment to ensure they remain compliant.

A 360-degree educative campaign has been launched for MSMEs which will help thousands of businesses understand the implications of e-invoicing, e-way bill and audit trail, Tally Solutions South Zone general manager Bhuwan Ranjan said.

Tally Solutions has trained its employees and 28,000 plus partners to ensure that right information is shared.

"Government of India's move to cover businesses with a turnover of 10 crore and more effective from October 1 is a step further in the digitisation journey of businesses," he said.

With the implementation of the fifth phase of e-invoicing, over 4.8 lakh businesses will come under the ambit of e-invoicing, out of which over 2.3 lakh businesses will start adhering starting October 1, Ranjan said.
