Three held with mephedrone worth Rs 1.7 lakh in Nashik

Nashik, Aug 18 (PTI) Three persons were held allegedly with mephedrone worth R 1.70 lakh in Nashik, a police official said on Monday.

The Upnagar police station official identified the accused as Vijay Sonawane (40), Rohit Nehe (28) and Kaif Pathan.

"Sonawane was held with 34 grams mephedrone worth Rs 1.70 lakh after a raid on his house on August 16. Of the three, Nehe is a history sheeter. An NDPS Act case was registered and further probe is underway," he added. PTI COR BNM
