Buldhana, Jun 23 (PTI) A group of students of a ZP school in Buldhana district were made to clean the premises on reopening day on Monday allegedly to welcome Maharashtra minister Dada Bhuse, who later called the move "wrong" and promised an inquiry.

A video showing students cleaning the premises, classrooms and the ground of the Zilla Parishad school in Singaon Jahangir in Deulgaon Raja taluka went viral on social media.

Speaking to reporters, Bhuse, who is the state's education minister, said, "If such a thing has happened, then it is wrong. We will certainly inquire into it." Bhuse was the chief guest at the event to mark the start of academic year 2025-26 at the school.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Jayshree Shelke condemned the incident and said the state government must set up a probe and take action against those responsible for it. PTI COR CLS BNM
