Two bodies recovered from stream in Sikkim's Soreng

Gangtok, Jun 19 (PTI) Two bodies, including that of a Sikkim government employee, were on Thursday recovered from a stream in Soreng district, police said.

On a tip-off by local people, Soreng Police recovered the two bodies from a stream under Rothok Khola bridge near Khadkabazar area.

The bodies have been identified as that of Roshan Chhetri, a junior engineer of education department and Vikas Dhamala, police said.

The bodies were handed over to the kins of the victims after post-mortem examination, they said.

An investigation was underway to find out the cause of death of the two people, police added. PTI KDK RG
