Two drown in Arabian Sea

Udupi (Karnataka) Sep 7 (PTI) Two persons drowned and another went missing in the Arabian Sea at Gopadi Beach near Kundapur on Sunday, police said.

The victims were part of a group of 10 youth from Bengaluru that had visited the beach.

Seven of them entered the water, and four were swept away by strong currents, police added.

Of the four, two drowned, one was rescued and hospitalised, while search operations are underway to trace the missing youth, police further said. PTI GMS SSK
