Two electrocuted while irrigating field in UP

Maharajganj (UP), Aug 22 (PTI) A farmer and his son were electrocuted on Friday after accidentally coming in contact with a live wire while irrigating a field, officials said.

Station House Officer (SHO) Mahendra Mishra said the incident occurred in Thuthibari village when Srikant Yadav (60) and his son Santosh Yadav (25), residents of Sukarhar village, had gone to irrigate their field.
