Nagpur, Jun 25 (PTI) The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has detained two teenagers for hurling stones at passenger trains in separate incidents in Nagpur and Chhattisgarh, officials said.
The action was taken by the RPF's Nagpur division under the South East Central Railway.
The first incident occurred on May 1 when a 13-year-old boy hurled a stone at the Puri-Indore Express while picking tamarinds along the railway tracks in Chhattisgarh's Durg, they said.
In the second case, 18-year-old Anil Pal threw stones at the Ahmedabad-Howrah Express, in which the train's window got damaged, when the train was passing through Nagpur city. He admitted that he did it just for fun.
Both the teenagers were charged under section 153 of the Railway Act. PTI COR NP
