Pushkar Dhami orders magisterial probe into lathicharge on youths

Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday ordered a magisterial probe into the lathicharge on youths protesting here against paper leaks of recruitment examinations held by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission.

The lathicharge was launched when protesters allegedly clashed with police and hurled stones at them.

Chief secretary SS Sandhu has been directed to have a magisterial probe carried out into the incident and submit a detailed report.
