Lucknow, Jul 6 (PTI) The Uttar Pradesh government is planning to launch the Mukhyamantri Sahbhagita Yojana, an innovative scheme linking cow protection and rural self-reliance.
Under the initiative, farmers can adopt up to four cattle, while their sheds can be built under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee scheme and small biogas units installed to promote clean energy, according to an official statement issued on Sunday.
