Uttarakhand governor's house renamed to Lok Bhavan

Dehradun, Dec 1 (PTI) The official residence of the Governor of Uttarakhand in Dehradun and Nainital has been renamed from Raj Bhavan to Lok Bhavan.

A notification to this effect was issued on Monday by Ravinath Raman, Secretary to the Governor.

The notification states that following a letter from the Union Home Ministry and the approval of the Governor of Uttarakhand, the Raj Bhavans in Dehradun and Nainital are officially renamed Lok Bhavan. PTI DPT VN VN
