Woman, minor girl found murdered in Delhi's Majnu Ka Tila

New Delhi, Jul 8 (PTI) A woman and a minor girl were found murdered inside a house in north Delhi's Majnu Ka Tila area on Tuesday, police sources said.

The incident came to light when neighbours, sensing something was wrong, alerted the police.

A team from the Civil Lines Police Station reached the scene and found both victims lying in a pool of blood inside a room, the source stated.

Police suspect that the woman's male companion, who has been missing since the incident, may be responsible for the murders.

"Both bodies have been recovered and sent for postmortem. Forensic experts were also called to examine the crime scene," said the source.
