Mismatched season 2 official release date revealed

Good news for Mismatched fans as the makers have announced the premiere date of the second season of Netflix Mismatched.

The series is based on an adult romance novel ‘When Dimple met Rishi’ by Indian American author Sandhya Menon. While the main focus of the first season of the show was on Dimple and Rishi’s relationship, this season focuses more on the newly brewing romance between other characters and the leads including Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf.

With twice the drama, twice the love interests and twice the competition, the second season of the show is all set to be released on October 14th. Ever since season 1 ended, the fans only had one question in mind ‘What will happen between Rishi and Dimple?’ Well, the answer is here, in the teaser it is evident that although the Jodi has reunited but there is a lot of tension between them.

While the viewers will get to see the old cast including Prajakta Koli, Rohit Saraf, Muskkan Jaferi, Taaruk Raina, Vihaan Samat, Rannvijay Singha, Vidya Malvade, Abhinav Sharma, Devyani Shorey and Kritika Bharadwaj a few new faces including Ahsaas Channa, Priya Banerjee, and Sanjana Sarathy will also be seen.

The team has been shooting for the second season since August and they have been so excited to share the news of the upcoming season that they’ve posted updates about the same on their social media handles. From Rohit Saraf to Prajakta Koli to Akash Khurana everyone has been posting sneak peeks to give the audience insights while still maintaining secrecy and excitement.

Akash Khurana, the director of Mismatched season 2 posted a teaser revealing the date on his Instagram profile saying “Since December 2020, one question has been posed to me wherever I went, online and offline. Today, finally, we have an answer. Mark your calendars! Mismatched Season 2 drops on 14thth October, only on @netflixed_in. Suspense Khatam, Intezaar shuru.”
