Abhay Singh loses to world No 4 Makin in US Open squash

Philadelphia, Oct 21 (PTI) Leading India squash player Abhay Singh went down against Welsh third seed Joel Makin in the round-of-16 at the US Open squash, a USD 226,000 PSA Platinum event here.

The 27-year-old multiple Asian Games medallist and world No 30 lost 2-11, 5-11, 4-11 to the world No 4 on Monday.

Abhay had beaten world no 5 Karim Gawad in Doha last month. PTI BS TAP
