Bhagwani Devi Dagar, a 94-year-old sprinter from India won three medals at the World Masters Athletics championships 2022 in Finland on July 11, 2022.
She won a gold medal in the 100 m sprint in the senior-citizen category with a timing of 24.74 seconds.
Bhagwani also bagged a bronze medal in shot put.
After returning to India the 94-year-old said " I am very happy...have made my country proud by winning medals in another country," says 94-year-old Bhagwani Devi Dagar on winning gold and 2 bronze for India at the World Masters Athletics Championships in Finland."
She is seen celebrating after winning one gold and two bronze for India.
Bhagwani Devi has made India proud and is an inspiration for many. She has proven that age truly is just a number.
