Senthilkumar, Tandon make winning start in Detroit

Detroit, Jan 14 (PTI) Reigning men's national champion Velavan Senthilkumar and Ramit Tandon began the new PSA season on a winning note at the DR 21Motor City Open, a silver-level event here.

Senthilkumar, ranked 46th in the world, eased past England's Samuel Osborne-Wylde 11-9, 11-5, 11-6, while world No. 41 Tandon beat Tom Walsh of England 11-8, 11-4, 8-11, 11-4 in the opening round matches.

Meanwhile, in Cleveland, world No. 52 Veer Chotrani defeated local challenger Ignatius Lahorra 11-3, 11-3, 11-4 in the opening round of the Squash in the Land 2026, a silver-level tournament. PTI AM AM AH AH
