Guwahati: South Africa reached 316 for six at tea on day two after a wicketless morning session in the second Test against India here on Sunday.
Senuran Muthusamy and Kyle Verreynne were batting on 56 and 38 respectively at the break, having resumed the day at 247 for six.
Muthusamy and Verreynne have put on 70 runs unbeaten for the seventh wicket.
