Akshay Kumar congratulates Sudhir Chaudhary ahead of his Aaj Tak debut

Ahead of his launch on Aaj Tak, Sudhir Chaudhary has got a shot in the arm with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar congratulating him on Twitter.

Wishing Chaudhury ahead of his debut on Aaj Tak in a light-hearted manner, Kumar wrote, “Your famous hair may be a mix of ‘black and white’, but make sure there are no greys when it comes to the news on your show (sic).”

Aaj Tak is launching Chaudhary today at 9 pm with a new primetime show, the name and format of which will be revealed with the launch. 


Ever since Chaudhary joined Aaj Tak, there has been a massive excitement around what the new association has in-store for the public.


The digital campaign #AskSudhir had been trending on social media platforms like WhatsApp and Twitter when it was announced on July 15.

Riding on this curiosity, Aaj Tak has been running a contest which urges audiences to guess the name of the show and at regular intervals it is switching to a black-and-white theme.

Moreover, hinting at the name of the new show, the channel also rolled out a few promo videos where Chaudhary was seen playing the piano, the game of chess and even walking on the zebra crossing. But the one thing that remained common in all these videos was the ‘black-and-white’ theme.
