NDTV group president Suparna Singh resigns

New Delhi: Close on the heels of Adani Group taking management control of NDTV, the senior leadership team of NDTV including its Group President Suparna Singh put in papers on Friday.

Besides Singh, Arijit Chatterjee, Chief Strategy Officer and Kawaljit Singh Bedi, Chief Technology and Product Officer have also quit.

The announcement was made by Sanjay Pugalia.

In an internal email sent to NDTV staff, Pugalia wrote: “As an update, three of our colleagues: Suparna Singh, Arijit Chatterjee and Kawaljit Singh Bedi have submitted their resignations and have decided to move on from NDTV. They have been the pillars of strength for the group and have played important roles in getting the company back to profitability. We wish them the very best in their future endeavours.

They will be here for the next few weeks to enable a smooth transition of responsibilities. Their direct reportees and all Heads of Departments will start reporting to me with immediate effect.”
